BENEFITS ASSOCIATION
One of the many benefits a KTA membership provides is the opportunity to participate in the Anthem – KTA Group Employee Benefits Program. Employers whose primary line of business is Thoroughbred related are eligible to take advantage of the program. This Association Program has been in existence for over 30 years and is providing Group Employee Benefits’ coverage to over 175 Kentucky Domiciled employers. These employers represent approximately 3,400 covered lives, joined together to take advantage of larger group pricing.
KTDF REGISTRATION
The Kentucky Thoroughbred Development Fund is a unique program to benefit owners and their Kentucky-sired, Kentucky-foaled runners. Its aim is to upgrade the overall quality of racing in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
Kentucky-breds headline 152nd Kentucky Derby
Robert and Lawana Low and Repole Stable’s Kentucky-bred Renegade has been installed as the 4-1 morning line favorite in a field of 20 for Saturday’s 152nd running of the $5 million Kentucky Derby (G1) at Churchill Downs.
Kentucky-breds top 152nd Kentucky Oaks field
Repole Stable’s Kentucky-bred Zany has been installed as the 4-1 morning line favorite in a field of 14 for the 152nd running of the $1.5 million Longines Kentucky Oaks (GI) to be run Friday, May 1. A total of 11-of-13 runners are bred in Kentucky and also include Ashland S. (G1) winner Percy’s Bar.
